Day 4 · Responsibility

The system is not an alibi

A harmful decision rolls downhill until everybody points at the system. Cain tried an older version of the same escape. Stoic practice returns attention to the judgment and action that are actually yours.

Have a think

The system is not an alibi

The thought

The question in Genesis pulls responsibility back into relationship: where is your brother? Tools, workflows, and institutions may carry an act, but accountable thinkers still name what they requested, approved, ignored, and allowed.

A task for today

For the next consequential recommendation, leave a visible trail: source, uncertainty, decision owner, affected neighbor, and safest route back.
