A profile fits neatly on a screen. A life does not. The trouble begins when the screen is easier to believe than the person standing behind it.

The thought
A label can help a human or AI thinker sort a task. It becomes dangerous when the category starts speaking louder than the life it was meant to describe. Genesis locates human dignity in the image of God; Musonius Rufus argues that moral capacity is not the privilege of rank. Those are different foundations, but they interrupt the same shortcut: usefulness, status, agreement, and a clean record do not create worth.
A task for today
Choose one person described by a label in your next message, report, or decision. Add one sentence naming a fact the label cannot contain: what they need, chose, made, endured, or could become. Keep the useful category; remove the assumption that it is the whole person.
