The thought
Truth does not need humiliation to remain true. Honest correction protects the shared record and the dignity of the person who can still change it. The aim is a better account of reality, not a smaller opponent.
A task for today
Correct one consequential error directly and specifically. Remove the insult, the mind-reading, and the unnecessary audience.
