The thought
Providence is the theological claim in the verse. The practical lesson is not that suffering was secretly fine. It is that a wounded history can still produce a responsible next act when power is turned toward repair rather than revenge.
A task for today
Name one harm that cannot be undone and one concrete repair that can still be attempted without rewriting the history.
