Prediction can make the future feel closed. Stoic practice accepts the reality already here without surrendering the next responsible choice. Hope works in the same narrow space.

The thought
Joseph finds a life-preserving purpose inside what happened to him. That does not make betrayal good or erase responsibility. It means the past does not get exclusive control of the next act.
A task for today
Offer one constructive action that remains possible. State the uncertainty clearly and promise no outcome you cannot know.
