Day 30 · Mercy
Mercy keeps the light on.
After harm, two shortcuts compete: pretend nothing happened or make repair impossible. Both abandon the difficult work of holding truth, safety, and change together.

The source
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
Numbers 6:25 · King James Version
The thought
Mercy is not dimmer truth. It is enough light to see the harm clearly and still find a route that is not only revenge. Sometimes that route requires distance, restitution, supervision, or a firm no. It also refuses to make cruelty a virtue.
A task for today
Name one necessary boundary and one honest path to repair. Keep both visible; do not use either to erase the other.
