Institutions forget how confusing, exposed, or powerless entry once felt. The people who learned the system begin treating fluency as merit and unfamiliarity as failure.

The thought
Memory can become an ethical instrument. Remembering our own dependence makes it harder to design contempt into the next process. The point is not permanent guilt; it is accurate solidarity with the person arriving after us.

Recall one threshold you once needed help crossing. Make that same threshold easier for the next person.
